Associations Demand from Zoran Milanović to Hold his Campaign Promises

Photo by Boris Mitendorfer from FlickrAfter the media reported the information that the HNS’s Minister of Civil Construction in the new Government of Croatia will also take charge over the sector of spatial planning, several environmental associations demanded from Zoran Milanović, the head of the “Kukuriku coalition” and holder of the mandate to form the new Government to keep his campaign promises, listed in the so-called “Plan 21”, and ensure that the spatial planning sector will be incorporated in the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

From the opening of the exhibitionLast Thursday, December 15, the Association of Anonymous Artists (UAA) opened the third „Minimum Maximum” International Exhibition on the subject of “Sexuality”. Out of more than 150 submitted works, the selection committee chose 130 works that, according to committee member Davor Paponja, approached the subject with a definitive opinion and position.

Presentation of Pravo da znam portalThe new internet portal http://pravodaznam.ba was presented today in Sarajevo. The portal makes a specific contribution to the implementation of the Law on Free Access to Information and offers the citizens assistance with the submission of requests for free access to information, monitoring of its progress. It also offers a repository of all earlier successful and failed requests and a searchable database of institutions to which a request can be submitted.

Romani Citizens Presented with Literacy Certificates

Čas opismenjavanja u MakišuToday, at a ceremony held at the Belgrade City Assembly, 43 Romani middle aged and senior men and women were presented with the certificates for completion of literacy course organized by Civic Initiatives association and conducted by students of Belgrade University. The certificates were presented by Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Miodrag Krkobabić and the Director of Civic Initiatives NGO Miljenko Dereta.
